UNSW Scholarship Program for Chinese Talents
Overview
UNSW(University of New South Wales) Scholarship Program for Chinese Talents is aimed at actively promoting international cooperation and exchanges in higher education. It expands the cooperation between Universities in Jiangsu and worlds’ top universities from short-term students exchange to joint talent development, mutual recognition of credits and scientific research. Top-performed undergraduates are selected from specific local universities and sent to UNSW for their last year of undergraduate study. During their stay in Australia, students transfer in the classes of the selected majors and attend the exams. After a year of course study, students would be offered an official transcript.
Preferential Policies
The selected students would be awarded UNSW Scholarship for Chinese Talents for their last year of undergraduate study in Australia. Students with an average grade of over 70% during their study in UNSW could be directly admitted to Master's degree programs in UNSW.
Program Participation
The scholarship program is open to all the local universities in Jiangsu Province. The selection notification is issued by JPDE to local universities in January. The application and selection is implemented based on the principle of applying by students, reviewed and recommended by universities and tested and selected by UNSW.
