Hello!

My name is Nadia Mazeau and I am from Durban, South Africa.

I am a native English speaker. I love to teach English. I have a B.A degree majoring in English and psychology. I am currently finishing my PGCE degree in education.

I have about 4 years of experience teaching English. I love to travel so I have taught English in France, Ireland, UK and South Africa. I am married with one son aged 13 years old. My family consists of my dad, mom and younger sister.

I love my family very much, I love to swim, cook, gym and shop.

My favourite food is Italian and Indian, I love pasta and Indian curries. I come from sunny Durban and the city is known as 'where the sun never sets'.

I can spend most of my time on the beach just relaxing. My hobbies include reading and listening to music. I can spend hours listening to music. I speak many languages such as Tamil, Hindi, Arabic, little French and Dutch not forgetting English.

My passion for teaching comes from my love for the English language. I never knew how English was such an important language to learn until I became a teacher. I love working with children.

What a better way to spend more time with them than by teaching them.

I hope to excel in my career as a successful English teacher. I hope to bring new values to the classroom where learning can be fun, it should not be stressful to teach or to learn.

Every lesson I teach has new input and is always student centered. Lots of learner participation is the key. I hope one day to inspire as many learners as I can, the way forward is always a positive one.
