Hello, I’m Anais Fuentes.

I was born in Southern California, but my family is from Catalunya, Spain.  

I graduated from San Francisco University in 2015 with a major in journalism and a minor in Sociology.

After graduating I moved to Barcelona and I received my CELTA certificate from International House Barcelona and I've been teaching English around the world ever since!  

I taught for two years in Barcelona, two years in Chile, and a few months in Argentina.  Now, I’m so excited to be teaching at a public middle school in China! I chose JESIE for this reason, because it is a completely new experience for me.

I previously taught at language schools, but JESIE provided me with the opportunity to work at a public school, which is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m also extremely excited to be in a country that is so foreign to me, I can't wait to learn more about the Chinese culture, language, and traditions.
