Nanjing Langya Road Primary School was founded in 1934 and has been an Experimental Primary School in Jiangsu province since 1982. It has 42 classes with more than 2700 students and 120 faculty members. 

For many years, the school has adhered to scientific research as its guide; students learn to be the innovative masters of the community, with learning and life as the goals of their education. Since 1982, the school has been actively exploring the little master education programme, and has been continuously enhancing its quality. The school conducted three experiments: The Integration of Inner and Outer Class Education, Cultivating Students Learning Innovation and Innovative Education, during which the school made great achievements in curriculum development, teaching methodology, materials, evaluation and examination reform. 

Today, students lead their lives inside and outside school as little masters; with their individuality and creativity fully developed, highlighting the distinctive characteristics of little master education. Vice Premier Li Lanqing visited the school and gave full recognition to this educational approach. The school has won many awards, including the National Modern Education Technology Experimental School, Jiangsu Model School and Jiangsu Advanced School in Scientific Research Education and will continue in its spirit of reform and development, featuring high-quality education, efficient management and distinctive features.
