Finding a job overseas is never easy. Especially when it's in a country you know little about. After having done three years in South Korea I looked at continuing my teaching adventure. I started to browse job boards throughout Asia. Most were full of scams or were directing you through third party recruiters who actually have never met your future school. When I happened upon a job from JESIE I saw immediately that the employer was part of the Jiangsu Education Department. 

After initial contact was made I was immediately impressed with the professionalism shown by the company. Lyra and Phyllis were always prompt with their replies and would help me in any way that they could. The school in which they placed me has been amazing. I have not had a single problem. The lunches are incredible, the staff friendly and welcoming and most of all the kids are terrific.  I was lucky enough to receive my own classroom. The school paid for me to decorate it. So now it is filled with superheroes, English quotes and hundreds of pictures drawn by my students. I have a great support system here. I share my office with the head of English and my liaison. This is really great as it allows me to ask questions and get to know my co-workers.

So far my time in China has been amazing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a teaching adventure to consider JESIE. You will not be disappointed.
