These past several months with JESIE have been awesome! I can't begin to say how happy I am to be a part of this program, but even more so to be a part of the school I have been placed at. The JESIE Staff is always ready and eager to help at a moment's notice with any issues or questions you may have, and quick to respond. Even more so my school is truly fantastic. They are welcoming, understanding, and very helpful. This is something that separates JESIE from the other English programs out there. They take careful considerations into which schools it places its teachers. I remember realizing that I would be teaching some 600 students and thinking that was insane, but with the guidance and training JESIE has provided, it's an enjoyable breeze.

I started my teaching experience with a great organization called the Ameson Foundation which really helped me get my foot in the door and become a teacher in China. However, after my year I wanted something more and to actually feel a part of an organization. Having searched online and got in contact with several agencies and schools throughout China, I came across one of JESIE's job announcements that offered flight reimbursement, free accommodation, free medical insurance, and career development. Literally everything you can ask and hope for when teaching abroad. Then, after a friend had given me several peoples email to contact in regards to getting a job, one of them actually worked for JESIE, was from the same place I was, and spoke highly of the program. With that, I took his word and have yet to regret my decision.
