2016.3.11 - JESIE Open Day - XV
JESIE open day this month was all about introducing students to Easter.
Students had a hopping good time while learning about Easter bunnies and more. Graham had brought arts and crafts to the class making Easter bunny face masks. Handing out supplies for kids to create while learning what it is they are using in their very hands was fun and educational. The students really had great fun with this.
Activities were not the only things bouncing around this Open Day, games and teaching was also something that had the students on the tips of their toes.
James had covered some important Easter traditions followed by a fun word game, Julie had talked about the concept of Easter baskets and eggs, students pinned Easter bunny parts on the board while blindfolded. Will had other activities including an Easter egg hunt inside the class room. Blindfolding students one at a time to find a treat they can keep. You can imagine the reaction the students had to this.
With different teachers sharing their knowledge and unique teaching styles while sharing Easter with students, JESIE Open Day was yet another successful event here in Wuxi.
