Two of our finest teachers, Paul and Tony, brought joy and happiness to the students of You Fu Xi Jie Primary School and Tian Zheng Primary School.

Tony started his lesson with a viewing of the famous 12 Days of Christmas song and video. Students were asked to try to recall the numbers of various items shown in the song. In the event, they already knew the song and happily joined in singing along with it!

This was followed by introducing some basic vocabulary on the Christmas theme and then a short quiz about traditional Christmas customs.

Once the students were completely oriented with the essential themes, they were asked to write a letter to Santa, requesting gifts and explaining why they deserved them.

Next came an activity in which they createda Christmas card. They all wrote a traditional greeting inside it and enjoyed attractively coloring in the card.

Paul drew a huge Christmas tree on the board and invited his students to pick a decoration out of his Santas sack and stick it on the tree. Then he introduced them to Santa Claus and his little helpers. They also sang the all-time favourite Christmas song Jingle Bellswhich was followed by making colourful Christmas cards.
